Thoughtful Design Starts at Home.
Kitchen Refresh | Lake Oswego, Oregon Owner-managed project
This is my own home — and the same standard I hold here is the standard I bring to every client.
The kitchen was original to the 90s — cherry cabinets, laminate counters, and dated tile that stopped short of the ceiling. The goal was a modern, design-conscious look without a full gut renovation.
What changed: upper cabinets above the sink were removed and replaced with open walnut shelving, tile was extended fully to the ceiling for a clean finished look, laminate counters were replaced with quartz, and paint and hardware were refreshed throughout.
The result is a kitchen that feels completely new — bright, modern, and thoughtfully done — at a fraction of the cost of a full renovation.
This is what a well-managed refresh can do.
Living Room / Stairwell
Living Room | Stairwell Owner-managed project
This is my own home — and the same standard I hold here is the standard I bring to every client.
The living room and stairwell were original to the 90s — carpet over hardwood, gridded windows, a dated chandelier, and a cherry railing that fought everything around it.
What changed: carpet was removed to reveal and refinish the red oak floors throughout, picture frame windows replaced the gridded originals, a minimal modern pendant replaced the light fixture, and the cherry railing was fully rebuilt — custom woodwork stained to match the floors, paired with black steel balusters.
The result is a space that feels grounded and current — warm materials, clean lines, and nothing that doesn't belong.
